IMPORTANT ART COLLECTIONS OF THE 21ST CENTURY
Volume 3: Andrew Hurle & Stephen Bram
September 19- October 10

The third volume of Important Art Collections of the 21st Century looks at pipes collected by Andrew Hurle & Stephen Bram.

The pipes were found while walking along the Yarra and around Melbourne, becoming part of an ongoing collection of strange, improvised and discarded objects.

There was something about the way these things had been made and where they had ended up that made them worth keeping. Some look like bits of infrastructure, some like inventions, some like things that have been put together by someone who needed to make something work.

The collection becomes a way of remembering places, walks, conversations and the people you share them with.
